The world-famous Bloomingdale's, plans to expand downtown in the fall
of 2003 with the opening of a new store in SoHo targeted towards the areas
young, fashion-conscious consumers. The six-level department store will
occupy 124,000 square feet of retail space at 504 Broadway, between Spring
and Broome streets, the former home of Canal Jeans.
Hershey's Times Square , recently "flipped the switch" on a
massive 16-story outdoor chocolate factory sign in the heart of Times
Square, heralding the arrival of the Hersheys Times Square flagship
store.
Uptown, Harlem continues to thrive with new shopping destinations including
Harlem Underground , a source for fashionable "official" Harlem
memorabilia and clothing.
