Daytona Beach

The Daytona Beach Boardwalk is filled with arcades, souvenir shops, and the new "Salute to Speed" exhibit, which features over 30 granite plaques to commemorate the area's colorful history in motor sports. If you visit during the summer, don't miss the free, open-air concerts at the Bandshell, located behind the Adam's Mark Hotel. Special events are held throughout the year at the nearby Oceanfront Park.

The boardwalk leads right up to the Main Street Pier, which extends nearly a quarter mile over the ocean. Here visitors can get a spectacular view of the surf and sand of this famous beach --or an even better view atop the 180-foot Space Needle observation tower or on the Sky Lift. If you'd like to drop a line, fishing equipment and bait can be rented -- and no fishing license is required.

Cocoa Beach

Cocoa Beach Pier: Stretching 840 feet over the Atlantic Ocean, the historic Cocoa Beach pier is open year-round. Food and beverages are readily available, with four restaurants. Live entertainment is frequent and souvenir shopping is plentiful. From an outdoor cafe table, guests can dine on casual fare and see for miles down the beach. For those wanting to drop a line, fishing equipment can be rented nearby.
